Harmon testified at the grand jury and at the preliminary perjury hearing that he had no knowledge of the 2001 incident and would have investigated it had he known what the allegations were. Essentially, he said Schultz asked him about the 1998 police file in 2001 and that was it.

Harmon also said a couple things that aren't backed up by the evidence. First, that he had no idea the psychologists interviewed the kids (refuted by e-mail evidence). Also, that he never spoke to Ray Gricar about 1998. This is more curious because Schreffler believed that Gricar called Harmon to close the case, while Harmon stated Schreffler got the word from Gricar to close the case.

I believe that Kane's investigation (by Moulton) could change a lot of things. Charges could be dropped. New charges could be filed.

I wouldn't read anything into Kane's statement that she's ready to go to trial in the C/S/S case. She's quite the poker player.Ray Bleharhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14557326921056183979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2260510730184507282.post-88365664039765547132013-06-27T01:09:08.273-04:002013-06-27T01:09:08.273-04:00Ray, in comments on your May 23 article for notpsu...Ray, in comments on your May 23 article for notpsu you said that Harmon is (or was?) a witness for the state so he isn't talking. Would you please elaborate on this... witness in which trial? Witness for which state prosecutor? If Kane's investigation uncovers a different story than the prevailing media/BoT-driven one, could Harmon's status as a state witness change? And is this what it would take for him to become "available" for further scrutiny?

It sure seems that someone, at some point, will want to testify against higher-ups in exchange for leniency in their own cases. Perhaps Harmon and Lauro will step forward, on behalf of PA's kids.rdkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11007253694089460950noreply@blogger.com
