Corbett "ex-PSU officials under investigation" but Who is Investigating Corbett?

Tom Corbett continues his absurd cover up farce in the face of massive evidence showing the Freeh Report to be a fact Freeh fictitious fraud.
The real cover up is rapidly coming apart Corbett. Is it you who framed Joe Paterno to detract from your malfeasance and lies?

HARRISBURG - Former top officials at Pennsylvania State University did not fully cooperate with state investigators in the Jerry Sandusky case, Gov. Corbett said Thursday, and are likely now the focus of an investigation by the state Attorney General's Office.
The governor, who as attorney general launched the child sexual-abuse investigation into Sandusky in 2009, said investigators had subpoenaed e-mails of top university officials, but did not receive critical exchanges until after Sandusky was charged last fall. Those e-mails came to light last week in a report by former FBI Director Louis Freeh, who was hired by Penn State to assess the university's handling of the matter.
ARE YOU KIDDING CORBETT?
Please get us a trial on the absurdity of linking anyone to a cover-up based on those emails.
and this: Who is the Liar? Paterno or Freeh to learn who are the culprits
and this 1998: So Close to an End for Sandusky - to begin to see the clues.
IS TOM CORBETT SCRAMBLING FOR HIS OWN FREEHDOM?
WILL HE SOON BE THE ONE FACING CHARGES?

  1. I think I'm seeing a pattern here! Hmmm.... Corbett was involved with the 1998 botching of a Sandusky investigation. (or is that "botching"?). There's a lot of money involved between Corbett and Second Mile... going both directions. And Corbett is on the Penn State BOT... am I wrong in guessing that Corbett is one of the (what three?) BOT members that Erickson talked to, prior to accepting the Freeh report and Sanctions?

  2. Corbett wasn`t involved in the 1998 incident. He was not AG at that time.

    1. TOM CORBETT AND DISTRICT ATTORNEY GRICAR
In 1998, according to the recently released two-year grand jury report into the charges, the then Centre County District Attorney, Ray Gricar, had reviewed allegations against Sandusky, including a police report of two conversations secretly recorded by police of Sandusky admitting to the mother of an 11 year-old boy inappropriate behavior with her son.Despite this, and additional evidence from a “lengthy” internal investigation by Penn State into Sandusky, District Attorney Gricar, with a reputation for rectitude and integrity, decided not to press charges against Sandusky.
A reasonable question is whether a straight-arrow DA like Gricar, a Republican, when confronted with an unprecedentedly explosive case involving a major Pennsylvania institution and personage, would turn to a superior to confer on the case. A person to whom Gricar might naturally turn would be the Pennsylvania Attorney General. In 1998, the Attorney General of Pennsylvania was D. Michael Fisher, a Republican in the Tom Ridge administration In 2004, the Attorney General for the state of Pennsylvania was current Gov. Tom Corbett. With mounting evidence against Sandusky, did Gricar confer with the Attorney General Corbett about prosecution of Sandusky? The Governor should answer that question.
CORBETT'S CAREER AS A REPUBLICAN ATTORNEY WITH CONNECTIONS AT THE TOP.
In the early 1980's, Tom Corbett served President Ronald Reagan as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania and was also named as one of the first members of President Reagan's National Drug Task Force. In 1989, when President George H. W. Bush appointed him to serve as U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

In the 1990's, Corbett provided criminal law and policy expertise to then-Congressman Tom Ridge, later filling several key roles in Governor Ridge's administration. Corbett planned the Governor's successful special session on crime and was appointed to chair the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency, shaping criminal justice policy and working to improve drug and alcohol prevention and rehabilitation programs across the state.

In 1995, Corbett was appointed by Governor Ridge as Attorney General to fill the unexpired term of Attorney General Ernie Preate. In 1997, Corbett returned to the private practice of law in Pittsburgh. In 1998 he joined Waste Management as their Assistant General Counsel for Government Affairs.

Tom Corbett had plenty of power in 1998 to influence then Attorney General Mike Fisher, Gircar, DPW, and DA Arnold. He was a very powerful political figure. Waste Management? Just google the name with MOB.

  3. Please also note that Tom Corbett makes no mention of the Sandusky investigation to the BOT after becoming governor and therefore a member of the BOT. Also, Corbett's position as Governor and John Surma's position as CEO of US Steel also has siginificant connections due to the drilling in the Marcellus Shale for natural gas. Drilling in the shale requires a significant amount of steel for tubes, pipes, and joints. Also natural gas can be used to run steel furnances more cheaply than coal. By increasing the natural gas supply from drilling, it makes natural gas even cheaper.

Corbett has been a big proponent in reducing restrictions in drilling in the shale and his recently passed budget provides lower tax for companies that invest in the development of natural gas resources.

Also, John Surma, who was the Vice Chairman of the PSU BOT, then made acting chairman at the time of the scandal in November 2011 is a member of the Board of Directors at Bank of NY Mellon. The new chairwoman of the PSU BOT is Karen Peetz, an executive at BNY Mellon
